Cards for Conversation: First Edition

The product is good, the delivery experience – not so much. The shipping from South Africa to Europe required:

– signed power of attorney so that UPS can process through customs,

– filled in form with the description of the product for clearance,

– some other information from the importer,

– taxes in amount of almost 35 euros which is basically the same amount as cards itself + delivery fee.

None of that is communicated on this website, FAQ, or during the ordering or delivery process. I had to ping UPS to get the information to understand what is expected from me.

If I knew this in advance, I would not make an order. I have already ordered things from non-EU, but it did not cause that much hustle about import documents and taxes amount.

Spent an incredible evening with these amasing cards. The questions are very insightful and really provoke thought and introspection. No better way to get your guests to open up and to get to know them better.

I can’t reccommend this little box of cards more. It’s such a great way to get to know your loved ones (and strangers too) on a whole new level and build deeper and more genuine connections. I can absolutely, with 100% certainty, guarantee that you will not regret buying this little brown box. Promise.

This game is so important. It makes hard things (read: vulnerability!) fun and approachable. Every time I play I learn something new about my friends and myself.

I’m a sucker for a good old DMC and Cards for Conversation have allowed for such beautiful moments this year with people from all walks of life, going beyond the standard surface level questions and really allowing you to KNOW and SEE someone! A must have!

These questions have allowed me to form deeper relationships with strangers (who are now family) vs. friends I have know for years. Some of my favorite memories of this year are around dinner parties with these questions.
